四味破积丸三线治疗气滞血瘀型ⅢB/Ⅳ期非小细胞肺癌患者的疗效观察
Observation on the efficacy of Siwei Poji Pills third-line therapy in patients with stage ⅢB/Ⅳ non-small cell lung cancer of qi stagnation and blood stasis type

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and impact on quality of life of Siwei Poji Pills in the third-line maintenance treatment of patients with stage Ⅲ B/Ⅳ non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)of qi stagnation and blood stasis type.Methods:A total of 114 patients with stage Ⅲ B/Ⅳ NSCLC of qi stagnation and blood stasis type were randomly divided into a test group(56 cases)and a control group(58 cases)using block randomization.The control group received palliative conventional treatments such as nutritional support and symptomatic pain relief,while the test group was additionally given oral Siwei Poji Pills water-honeyed pills on the basis of conventional treatments.After 8 weeks of treatment,changes in clinical examination results,TCM syndrome scores,and quality of life were collected to observe efficacy,and patients'survival status was followed up and recorded in the later stage.Results:There was no statistically significant difference in overall survival(OS)and progression-free survival(PFS)between the two groups.Among patients with high quality of life,OS in the test group was longer than the control group(P=0.027).In the test group,there was no statistically significant difference in Karnofsky Performance Status(KPS)scores before and after treatment,while in the control group KPS scores decreased significantly after treatment compared with before treatment(P=0.040);however,there was no statistically significant difference in KPS scores between the two groups after treatment.After treatment,the improvement in TCM syndrome scores in the test group was better than that in the control group(P=0.033).Conclusion:Siwei Poji Pills,used in the third-line maintenance treatment of patients with stage ⅢB/Ⅳ NSCLC of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,can alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life,while also extending survival periods for patients with high-quality living conditions.关键词
