Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of topical application of salicylic acid and fractional laser on acne patients.Methods A total of 122 cases of acne who admitted to Puyang Second People's Hospital from March 2022 to March 2025 were taken as the objects.All cases were assigned to two groups(61 cases each)based on different treatment regimens.The patients of control group were administrated fractional laser,and on this basis,the patients of observation group additionally took topical application of salicylic acid for 8 weeks.The comparisons were performed on efficacy,lesion count,skin condition,quality of life,and adverse reactionsin both groups.Results The observation group obtained higher overall effective rate than the control group(P<0.05);Compared with the control group,the observation group had less lesion count,higher water content of stratum corneum and scores of all dimension of the Acne-specific Quality of Life Assessment(Acne-QO),lower sebum secretion,erythema index and trans-epidermal water loss after treatment(P<0.05);The two groups achieved comparable incidence of adverse reactions,which expressed no statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusions The combined regimen of topical application of salicylic acid and fractional laser has significant efficacy on acne.It can reduce the number of skin lesions,improve skin condition,enhance the quality of life,and does not increase adverse reactions.关键词
