Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of salicylic acid combined with fruit acid on inflammatory factors and keratinocyte metabolism in patients with mild to moderate acne.Methods A total of 106 patients with mild to moderate acne admitted to Yellow River Sanmenxia Hospital from January 2024 to May 2025 were selected and divided into the control group(53 cases)and the observation group(53 cases)according to the order of visit.The control group was treated with fruit acid,while the observation group was treated with a combination of salicylic acid and fruit acid.Both groups were treated for 8 weeks.The clinical efficacy,inflammatory response,keratin metabolism,quality of life and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the scales of the facial lesions in both groups decreased,and the observation group was lower(P<0.05).After treatment,the water content of the stratum corneum(SCH)increased in both groups,while the transepidermal water loss(TEWL),sebum secretion,and stratum corneum thickness decreased.The improvement was more significant in the observation group(P<0.05).After treatment,the specific quality of life(Acne QOL)scores of both groups of acne patients increased,and the observation group was higher(P<0.05).There was no statistical significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of mild to moderate acne patients with salicylic acid combined with fruit acid has a definite effect,which can effectively reduce facial inflammatory reactions,improve keratinocyte metabolism,enhance patients'quality of life,and has good safety.关键词
