灌肠治疗溃疡性结肠炎大肠湿热证的研究进展
A review on the treatment of ulcerative colitis of the large intestine dampness-heat syndrome by enemas

Abstract
Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease with a complex etiology,highly recalcitrant states to be cured,and a pathogenesis that remains to be fully elucidated.In this study,a systematic review on the modern clinical application and mechanistic research of Chinese medicinal material enema therapy for treating ulcerative colitis of the large intestine dampness-heat type was performed.The core pathogenesis of the disease was defined as the accumulation of dampness-heat in the large intestine,and it was pointed out that the large intestine dampness-heat syndrome was the most commonly encountered syndrome type in clinical practice.The clinical research evidence in this field in the past five years was summarized comprehensively,detailing treatment regimens involving both classical prescriptions such as the Baitouweng decoction(白头翁汤)and the Shaoyao decoction(芍药汤),and various self-designed enema prescriptions.Through extensive clinical data,it was demonstrated that Chinese medicinal material enema therapy had significant effects in ameliorating clinical symptoms,reducing the levels of inflammatory indicators(e.g.,C-reactive protein,tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6),promoting intestinal mucosal repair,and modulating gut microbiota,and the total efficiency was frequently superior to that of Western medicine alone.By retrieving studies on randomized controlled trials of treating ulcerative colitis of the large intestine dampness-heat syndrome by enemas in the past five years in CNKI,VIP,and Wanfang databases,the treatment methods were aggregated,and their primary therapeutic outcomes were analyzed,so as to provide more evidence or approaches for the clinical treatment of ulcerative colitis of the large intestine dampness-heat syndrome.关键词
