摘要

Abstract

In recent years,the incidence of bone metabolic diseases has been increasing year by year,but the current medical technology is still very limited in the treatment of bone metabolic diseases.Bile acid is a key component in bile,and is responsible for regulating various metabolic activities in the human body,including but not limited to glucose,fat,and energy balance.Among them,tauroursodeoxycholic acid(TUDCA)and other endocrine components with multiple physiological effects,as well as a variety of pathophysiological mechanisms,all support the connection between them and bone metabolism.TUDCA is a natural product and basic component of the traditional Chinese medicinal material bear bile,and it is a member of the bile acid family.It has the characteristics of amphiphilicity(hydrophobic structure and hydrophilic structure),higher bioavailability,high efficiency and low toxicity,and can pass through the blood-brain barrier.It has also been confirmed to have pharmacological activities such as protecting the liver and promoting bile secretion,reducing endoplasmic reticulum stress,inhibiting cell apoptosis,anti-inflammatory response,and regulating cholesterol metabolism.By reviewing a large number of domestic and foreign studies,it is found that TUDCA can act on osteoblasts,osteoclasts,and chondrocytes through pathways such as inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum stress,ameliorating inflammatory responses,alleviating oxidative stress,promoting cell proliferation,and reducing cell apoptosis,thereby treating bone metabolic diseases,and has significant therapeutic effects.TUDCA is expected to be a potential medicine for effective or comprehensive therapy,but the specific action mechanism in treating bone metabolic diseases still needs to be further explored.This study elaborately explains the mutual influence between TUDCA and bone metabolic diseases,which may provide a new research direction for the prevention,diagnosis,and treatment of related bone diseases.
