Abstract
Objective:To gain an in-depth understanding of the research progression in the field of the integrative in the treatment of herpes zoster over the past two decades(2004-2024),analyze the research focal points and future prospects,so as to provide theoretical support and reference basis for subsequent academic investigations and practical implementations.Methods:The CNKI database served as the data source,and the retrieval time range was restricted from January 2004 to December 2024.Subsequently,the CiteSpace 6.2.R3 professional literature analysis software was utilized to perform visualizations on the included literature,thereby drawing knowledge graphs of author collaboration networks,distributions of research institutions,co-occurrences of high-frequency keywords and so on,so as to visually illustrate the research characteristics in this domain.Results:A total of 602 papers that met the requirements were selected out ultimately.The annual number of published papers displayed a fluctuating upward trend before 2012,reached the peak in 2010,and showed a fluctuating downward trend since 2012.This study involved 428 research institutions,with the Graduate School of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine being the leading institution.A total of 491 authors participated in the research in this field,among whom the top three authors in terms of published quantity were TANG Chunlei,SHEN Qiusheng,and WANG Qiang.The top three high-frequency keywords were"herpes zoster","the integrative medicine",and"the integrative therapy".Conclusion:From 2004 to 2024,the research popularity of the integrative medicine in the treatment of herpes zoster experienced a fluctuating upward trend before 2012,but overall showed a generally declining trend year by year.Early research focused primarily on treating herpes zoster and ophthalmic zoster in the integrative medicine,while recent and future research directions and priorities are mainly the clinical observation on treating herpes zoster and postherpetic neuralgia with the Longdan Xiegan decoction(龙胆泻肝汤).关键词
