Abstract

With the control of hydrofluorocarbons with high global warming potential(GWP),perfluorohex-anone,as a new type of highly efficient and environmentally friendly fire extinguishing agent,has been widely studied both at home and abroad.By searching and analyzing relevant domestic and foreign literature,the pro-gress and shortcomings of perfluorohexanone in application research,market layout,standard formulation,and policy supply are systematically sorted out from the dimensions of its physical and chemical properties,fire ex-tinguishing mechanism,fire extinguishing efficiency,and the current development status of fire extinguishing devices.Analysis reveals that perfluorohexanone performs outstandingly in scenarios such as electrical fires and lithium battery fires due to its advantages,like low GWP,no residue pollution,and high fire extinguishing effi-ciency.However,it has problems such as core technology patent barriers,high costs,and insufficient market awareness.Although domestic standards have been gradually improved,the standard system is fragmented and lacks a strong binding force,and industry policy support lacks systematicness.The research has clarified the key directions of perfluorohexanone in terms of technological breakthroughs,market cultivation,standard coordi-nation,and policy guidance,providing targeted paths for the upgrading of its industrial structure and the large-scale application of fire extinguishing devices.
