Abstract
In southwestern China,intense tectonic activity and frequent earthquakes occur,and slope instability and collapse triggered by earthquakes severely threaten the normal production and daily lives of residents.To more efficiently analyze the patterns of earthquake-induced slope instability and collapse,a continuous-discontinuous seismic slope calculation method was implemented for the first time in the general finite element software ABAQUS.The effectiveness of this method was validated through laboratory physical experiments and numerical tests.The analysis of the overall failure process of the Daguangbao landslide induced by the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake revealed that under 30 sec-onds of strong seismic action,the collapse of the Daguangbao landslide began at the rear edge of the slope top.The sliding surface of the landslide gradually became fully connected.After breaking through the constraints at the slope toe,the entire landslide slid along the sliding surface toward Huangdongzi gully,where it eventually deposited.Therefore,this method can provide a reference and basis for the calculation of earthquake-induced slope collapse.关键词
