Abstract

Studied here in the article are the effects by the cold-rolling deformation amount distribution and the annealing temperature on the microstructure and the mechanical properties of the N06625 small-sized seamless pipe.Re-levant analysis reveals that after the annealing temperature has been increased from 1 150℃to 1 180℃,both the yield strength and the tensile strength of the pipe obviously go down,and the elongation increases,while the rolling force gets reduced,which contributes to the reduction of both the OD and the WT of the pipe during the cold-rolling process;along with the annealing temperature goes up from 1 150℃to 1 200℃,the grain size drops from Grade 6 to Grade 4,which contributes to reducing the cold-rolling deformation resistance of the pipe.Based on the testing results,both the deforma-tion distribution between different rolling passes and the feeding amount during the rolling process are adjusted.As a result the occurrences of mandrel fracture and pipe cracking have been reduced remarkably,while the service span and the quality of the pipe have also been significantly improved.
