Abstract
Under the influence of global climate change,the frequent occurrence of extreme weather events has exposed the shortcomings and vulnerabilities in the flood control system of the Beijiang River Basin,highlighting the urgent need to optimize and adjust the overall layout of the flood control system and scientifically formulate flood management plans.Based on a summary and evaluation of the development of the flood control system in the Beijiang River Basin in recent years,this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the new challenges and main issues currently faced in flood management.It proposes strategies such as advancing the construction of reservoirs including the Lianjiang Huangmaoxia Reservoir,implementing systematic management of the main stream of the Beijiang River,improve the management of watershed reservoir zones,and accelerating the improvement of rainfall and water regime monitoring and forecasting systems.The findings of this study can provide technical references for optimizing the flood control engineering system in the Beijiang River Basin.关键词
