Research progress on the association between obesity,weight management,and aortic dissection
摘要
Abstract
Obesity,characterized by excessive or abnormal fat accumulation,is a chronic metabolic disease and a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases.Emerging evidence suggests that obesity also contributes to the occurrence and progression of aortic dissection.Shared pathophysiological mechanisms include adipokine imbalance,chronic inflam-mation,oxidative stress,and insulin resistance.This review summarizes the epidemiological association between obesity and aortic dissection,underlying pathophysiological mechanisms,and preventive and therapeutic interventions.The aim is to provide insights for precision prevention and management of aortic dissection.关键词
