Study on the Personnel Transfer and Resettlement Strategy for the Temporary Inundation Area of a Reservoir under Overstorage Operation

Abstract
The temporary inundation area of reservoir overstorage operation refers to the temporary submerged region caused by the backwater of reservoir floods when the reservoir operates beyond the land acquisition and resettlement lines.Taking a reservoir in Guangdong Province as an example,this study calculated the designed flood backwater surface line of the reservoir,clarified the scope of its temporary inundation area under overstorage operation,conducted a comprehensive survey on the quantity and distribution of permanent residents in the area by different elevations,and proposed a suitable personnel transfer and resettlement strategy for such temporary inundation areas.The research results can provide a reference for formulating personnel transfer and resettlement plans resulting from reservoir overstorage operations in Guangdong Province.关键词
