Abstract
In order to determine the characteristic of phytoplankton community structure and its driving variables in Hexi Reservoir(Guangdong,South China),phytoplankton assemblages and environmental factors were investigated quarterly from 2017 to 2022.Results demonstrated that phytoplankton community was mainly composed of Cyanophyta and Chlorophyta over the period.Phytoplankton abundance and the proportion of Cyanophyta in rainy season were significantly higher than that in dry season.Multiple regression analysis and RDA analysis showed that water storage of the reservoir and precipitation were the main influencing factors.It was speculated that the seasonal characteristic of phytoplankton community structure in Hexi Reservoir was resulted from the nutrient concentration and transparency change caused by hydrological conditions different between rainy and dry seasons.关键词
