Abstract

Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of lower limb exoskeleton robot combined with neuromus-cular electrical stimulation(NMES)in the treatment of lower limb motor dysfunction after brain injury.Methods From June 2023 to June 2024,110 patients with lower limb motor dysfunction after brain injury in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into two groups using the random number table method.The control group(n=55)received NMES treatment,while the experimental group(n=55)received additional lower limb exoskeleton robot therapy on the basis of NMES.Clinical efficacy,Berg Balance Scale(BBS),Barthel Index(BI),Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA),6-mi-nute walk test(6MWT),Holden walking function classification,coagulation function indicators,and overall complication rate were compared between the two groups.Results The experimental group showed a significantly higher total clinical effective rate,as well as greater post-treatment BBS,BI,FMA scores,6MWT performance,Holden walking function classification,and fibrinogen(Fib)levels compared with the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the experimental group had significantly lower D-dimer(D-D),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),prothrombin time(PT),and total complication rate compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with lower limb motor dysfunction after brain injury,treatment with lower limb exoskeleton robot combined with NMES can effectively improve self-care ability,balance,walking function,and coagulation function,while reducing the incidence of complications,showing significant clinical benefits.
