Abstract

In order to accelerate the improvement and breeding of new linseed varieties with high yield,disease resistance,high quality and suitability for mechanization,using the self-developed linseed temperature-sensitive male sterile line 1S as the female parent and the disease-resistant and high-yielding line 93059 as the male parent,a new linseed variety named Longya 17 was developed by the technologies of the two-line linseed heterosis utilization and the conventional pedigree selection method.In the national linseed variety joint regional experiment conducted in 2017 to 2018,the average yield of Longya 17 among the 26 test sites in 2a was 1 469.63 kg/ha,which was 10.88%higher than the control variety Longya 10.Longya 17 has excellent agronomic traits,resistance to wilt diseases,395.0 g/kg oil content,wide adaptability and mechanical harvesting performance.This variety is suitable for spring sowing in semi-arid and arid areas such as Gansu,Ningxia,Xinjiang,Inner Mongolia,Hebei and Shanxi.
