Discussion on the Pathogenesis,Pulses,Symptoms and Treatment of Combined Diseases of the Three Yang Channels in Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases
摘要
Abstract
Regarding the clause"combined disease of the three yang channels, with a floating and large pulse that is prominent at the middle position, accompanied by a desire to sleep and sweating when the eyes are closed"in Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases·Differentiation and Treatment of Shaoyang Disease Based on Pulses and Symptoms, there have been numerous discussions among scholars past and present, yet no definitive consensus has been reached. The author attempted to interpret and elaborate on this clause from the perspective of the"pathogenesis-pulse-symptom-treatment"thinking in traditional Chinese medicine. It is believed that when the body is invaded by pathogenic cold, the disease affects the three yang channels. The symptom of"a desire to sleep"indicates insufficient qi and blood, reflecting a deficiency condition, and its pathogenesis is related to the Shaoyang channel.A floating and large pulse does not indicate heat syndrome or disease progression. On the contrary,it is a sign of deficiency. This pulse manifestation arises because yin pulses are insufficient, and yang qi tends to follow, which actually implies that the stomach qi is about to recover. When"the eyes are closed",yin is restored and heat subsides, leading to spontaneous sweating, which indicates the body's self-healing process.关键词
