Abstract

Achieving carbon reduction and emission reduction in agriculture is of great significance for promoting China's realization of the carbon peak and carbon neutrality targets.Using the bidirectional fixed effects model and panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2012 to 2022,an in-depth analysis was conducted on the impact of planting structure on agricultural carbon emissions.The results showed that the planting structure had a significantly negative impact on agricultural carbon emissions at the 0.01 level.The industrial structure and economic level had a significantly negative impact on agricultural carbon emissions at the 0.01 level.The level of mechanization and large-scale operation had a significant positive impact on agricultural carbon emissions at the 0.01 level.It was indicated that the planting structure had a significant difference in carbon emissions of different degrees.Compared with the high-emission group,the impact of the planting structure on carbon emissions was more significant in the low-emission group.The counter measures and suggestions to optimize the planting structure,promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,guide the green transformation of large-scale operaction and strengthen policy support and superrision.
