Role of Macrophage Polarization in Bronchial Asthma Based on"Zong Qi Leakage"Theory
摘要
Abstract
Bronchial asthma is a common chronic inflammatory airway disease in children and adults.Current treatment mainly relies on symptom-oriented personalized therapy and immune regulation,and the disease tends to recur.Zong Qi circulates through the meridi-ans,connecting the upper and lower parts of the body,linking the Five Zang and the Six Fu,while macrophages circulate throughout the body via the lymphatic system.The movement of Zong Qi may influence the polarization and regeneration of macrophages,thereby affect-ing immune metabolic function.Therefore,the circulation of Zong Qi(Ying Qi and Wei Qi)can be understood as the process of macro-phage recirculation.When Zong Qi is deficient and leaks outward,the energy of Ying and Wei loses its regulatory ability.When the body's Wei Qi is unstable and defense decreases,and Ying Qi is insufficient,macrophages initiate glucose metabolism reprogramming to adjust energy supply,recruiting and inducing macrophages to excessively polarize toward the M1 type,triggering airway inflammation and exacerbating asthma.In addition,when Zong Qi is deficient and Fluid pathways are obstructed,accumulating Fluids form Phlegm,which may remain dormant in the body.Similarly,during macrophage polarization,overactivation of M2-type macrophages occurs,in-creasing mucus secretion and pulmonary tissue fibrosis,producing various adhesion factors,leading to airway hyperresponsiveness,and forming a chronic inflammatory microenvironment.关键词
