Abstract

Core-shell Fe3O4@SiO2@TiO2 and Ag-doped Fe3O4@SiO2@Ag-TiO2 photocatalysts were successfully prepared by solvothermal method and sol-gel method.Superparamagnetic Fe3O4 as a magnetic core could real-ize the recycling of photocatalyst.The influence mechanism of silver doping on the structure and chemical prop-erties of the photocatalyst was studied by XRD,UV-Vis DRS and TEM.Under simulated light conditions,6%Fe3O4@SiO2@Ag-TiO2 catalyst showed excellent photocatalytic performance for 10 mg/L methyl orange solu-tion,and the degradation rate of dye wastewater reached 94.93%in 30 min.Under the same experimental envi-ronment,after four cycles of experiments,the photocatalytic degradation rate of Fe3O4@SiO2@Ag-TiO2 was still above 89%.
