A Method for Automated Evaluation of Geometric Accuracy of Remote Sensing Images

Abstract
To improve the speed and accuracy of precision inspection of remote sensing image products,this paper proposes an automatic geometric precision evaluation algorithm based on phase correlation.Firstly,a calculation grid is established,where grid intersections serve as feature point checkpoints.Through reliability analysis and structural similarity index(SSIM)calculation,the offset vector of each feature point is finally obtained,and the root mean square error(RMSE)of the images is computed to realize automatic precision evaluation.Thirty-two images were selected as experimental datasets,with cross-comparisons conducted against manually collected control points.The experimental results demonstrate that the algorithm is effective and accurate in evaluating remote sensing images.Software-based automatic precision evaluation can display offset vectors more intuitively and clearly,accurately locate over-limit areas in the images,and lay a foundation for automated production evaluation.关键词
