Abstract

The cultivation of econometric analysis competence is the core objective of Econometrics education.This study first clarifies the components of econometric analysis competence and establishes a hierarchical framework for cultivation goals.The teaching content is then carefully structured into three parts:traditional statistical inference,modern causal inference,and machine learning.Each part is further divided into four modules:theory,experimentation,case studies,and research paper writing,with each module focusing on developing different aspects of econometric analysis competence.Finally,a variety of teaching methods,each with its own strengths,are thoughtfully combined and applied to specific modules.This approach constructs an integrated teaching model for Econometrics that facilitates the development of econometric analysis competence,and its effectiveness has been validated through teaching practice.
