Analysis of Health Emergency Literacy Levels and Influencing Factors Among Residents in Beijing

Abstract
Objective To investigate the level of health emergency literacy and its influencing factors among residents in Beijing,in order to provide references for improving residents'health emergency literacy.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among residents aged 18 to 70 in Beijing using the Computer Assisted Telephone Interview(CATI)system,which mainly included demographic characteristics and the level of health emergency literacy.Results The level of health emergency literacy among Beijing residents was 59.70%,and the health emergency literacy of females,highly educated,and high-income groups was relatively higher.Multi-factor analysis showed that gender,educational level,participation in health emergency knowledge and skills training,and understanding of the responsibility of infectious disease reporting were the influencing factors of health emergency literacy.Conclusion The level of health emergency literacy among Beijing residents was at a medium-low level.Different methods should be adopted to carry out health emergency knowledge publicity and training for different groups to improve the level of health emergency literacy.关键词
