Abstract
Objective To analyze the impact of nursing in-tervention strategies on themedication adherencein elderly hypertensivepatients with polypharmacy.Method A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 120 elderly hypertensive patients from the Santiaoshi Street Communi-ty Health Service Center in Hongqiao District,Tianjin.Da-ta were collected on patients'polypharmacy status,level of medication knowledge,medication adherence(assessed using the Morisky scale),and attitudes towards medica-tion intervention.Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors and provide a basis for targeted nursing intervention strategies.Results Among the 120 el-derly hypertensive patients with polypharmacy,42 were adherentand 78 were non adherent.Univariate analysis showed statistically significant differences between the two groupsin medication knowledge,payment methods,ad-verse drug reactions,medication intervention attitudes,medication quantity,and medication types(P<0.05);Mul-tivariate analysis identified adverse drug reactions,pay-ment methods,medication knowledge,and medication quantityas independent risk factors affecting medicationad-herence.Conclusion Medication adherence among elderly hypertensive patients with polypharmacy is generally lowand influenced by multiple factors.Clinical nursing in-terventions,such asenhance patients'medication aware-ness and streamline prescriptions,can help reduce medica-tion burden,and improve adherence.关键词
