Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of the artificial intelligence(AI)-assisted BOPPPS teaching model in practical training teaching for elderly rehabilita-tion nursing,and evaluate its effectiveness in enhancing nursing students'theoretical knowledge,operational skills,clinical decision-making ability,and learning engagement.Methods A randomized controlled trial method was em-ployed,and the enrolled nursing students were randomly as-signed into four groups,with 30 students in each group,re-ceiving different teaching methods.After the teaching inter-vention,theoretical and practical assessments were con-ducted on the four groups of nursing students,and the teaching effects of the four groups were compared.Results The AI+BOPPPS group scored higher in theoretical assess-ment,operational skills,elderly rehabilitation nursing abili-ty,and learning engagement compared to the other three groups(P<0.05).Conclusion The AI-assisted BOPPPS teaching model can significantly enhance the teaching ef-fectiveness of elderly rehabilitation nursing training and the learning engagement of nursing students,making it an effective path for cultivating high-quality elderly care pro-fessionals.
