Abstract

Objective To explore the innovative strategy and effectiveness of a clinical teaching mode for oncology that integrates Problem-Based Learning(PBL)with Case-Based Learning(CBL).Methods 98 clinical oncolo-gy students were selected as the research subjects and ran-domly divided into control group and observation group,with 49 students in each group.The control group used tra-ditional teaching method,and the observation group used PBL combined with CBL teaching method.After the teach-ing intervention,the theoretical examination scores,clini-cal skill assessment scores,and self-evaluated satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results The scores of theoretical examination and clinical skill assessment in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Regarding learning attitudes and abilities,the observation group also scored significantly higher than the control group in terms of learning interest,learning initiative,clini-cal thinking,and teamwork ability,and all differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of PBL combined with CBL teaching method can effectively innovated the clinical teaching mode of oncology,significantly improve teaching quality,stimu-lated students'learning motivation,and strengthened stu-dents'comprehensive abilities such as clinical thinking and teamworkdemonstrating high value for promotion and application.
