Design of a Zoom Objective Lens with Large Aperture for Infrared Polarization Imaging Systems

Abstract
Infrared polarization imaging detection technology is widely used in object detection,image reconstruction,and part defect detection.Its core component is an imaging objective lens.Based on the design principle of the zoom optical system and aberration analysis method,using the full-motion type compensation mode and applying optical design software to construct the aberration optimization constraint function of the zoom objective lens and constantly correct the aberration of the optical system,a zoom objective lens with a large aperture is designed using an infrared polarization imaging system.The range of the working wavelength of the zoom objective lens was 900-1100 nm,the variation range of focal length was 12-80 mm,the relative aperture was constant at 1/4,the value of the modulation transfer function at a Nyquist frequency of 134 lp/mm for the full field angle of the optical system in the entire variation range of focal length was greater than 0.32,the maximum distortion was less than 0.24%,and the relative illumination was greater than 96%.The results show that the designed zoom objective lens with a large aperture using an infrared polarization imaging system has good aberration correction and imaging quality,which provides a basis for the extended application of polarization imaging detection technology.关键词
