Abstract

Using maize inbred line B73 as an experimental material,physiological and biochemical indexes of maize seedling leaves were detected under different concentrations of Epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)treatment.Then transcriptome sequencing was performed on treated maize seedling leaves,and transcriptomic data were analyzed combined with physiological indexes,to explore key re-sponse genes affecting growth and development of maize seedlings under EGCG treatment and their metabolic regulation rules.The results showed that activities of superoxide dismutase and peroxidase were significantly increased and content of malondialdehyde was decreased under EGCG treatment of 50 μmol/L.After EGCG treatment,expression of genes related to antioxidant enzyme anabolic pathway was up-regulated,and expression of most genes related to photosynthesis metabolism was up-regulated,and photosynthetic efficiency was significantly increased.Under EGCG treatment,anti-oxidant capacity and photosynthetic efficiency of maize seedlings were improved,and life activity of maize seedlings was enhanced.
