Abstract

To address the limitation on the primary frequency regulation capability of combined heat and power(CHP)units caused by the"heat-determined electricity"constraint during heating seasons,this paper proposes a coordinated control strategy for the heating network and the unit based on the prediction of the comprehensive heat storage index(CSI).A parallel CNN-LSTM-ATT(PCLA)model is constructed to predict the CSI using multivariate time-series data from the distributed control system(DCS),accompanied by a threshold-driven coordinated control scheme.The results demonstrate that,upon model convergence,the loss function approaches zero,exhibiting strong generalization capability,with approximately 80%of prediction errors concentrated within±5%,which significantly outperforms the standalone LSTM model.Validation using actual operational data indicates that when the predicted CSI exceeds 60,partially closing the heating valve can temporarily increase the unit load to meet the demand for primary frequency regulation.Conversely,when the CSI is low and the system is in a steady state,opening the valve effectively restores heat storage.Without compromising heating comfort,this strategy effectively utilizes the thermal inertia of the heating network as a buffer,significantly enhancing the unit's frequency regulation response speed and operational flexibility.
