Abstract

To address the issues of low efficiency and poor quality associated with manual straw checkerboard laying,a multifunctional sand-fixing vehicle was designed.Firstly,the overall structure of the vehicle,along with the sand leveling and trenching device,straw loading and conveying system,blade insertion mechanism,and seeding device,were me-chanically designed using SolidWorks software.Secondly,simulation analysis of the sand leveling and trenching device was conducted using the SolidWorks Simulation and SolidWorks Motion modules.The results demonstrated that the device effectively achieves the desired functions of leveling the sand,trenching.Finally,experimental validation was conducted on the most critical component,the blade insertion mechanism.A scaled prototype of this module was fabricated using 3D printing,and experimental results indicated that the average depth at which the straw mats were pressed into the sand was 24.3 mm,meeting the design specifications of multifunctional sand fixing vehicle.
