摘要

Abstract

The hot tensile behavior of Ti-6Al-4V alloy was studied through isothermal tensile tests under different deformation parameters,and the microstructure evolution and macro fracture morphology of the fractured specimens were observed by scanning electron microscopy.Based on the fracture microstructure,the high temperature deformation behavior and plastic damage mechanism of Ti-6Al-4V alloy were analyzed.The results show that the flow stress increases with the increase of strain rate or the decrease of deformation temperature.The main reasons for stress decrease can be divided into flow softening and toughness damage.The fracture morphology of Ti-6Al-4V alloy under different deformation parameters shows typical ductile fracture characteristics.The mechanism of plastic damage is the nucleation,growth and aggregation of microvoids,and the preferential nucleation of voids at the α/β interface is caused by strain inconsistency.
