Analytical modeling and electromagnetic load characteristics study of coaxial electromagnetic recoil and counter-recoil

Abstract
To address issues in traditional hydropneumatic recoil mechanisms of artillery systems,including structural complexity,low reliability,poor firing mechanical environment caused by eccentric layout,and high temperature sensitivity of working medium,this study proposes a novel coaxial electromagnetic recoil and counter-recoil structure based on eddy current magnetic damping and permanent magnet synchronous linear motor(PMSLM)technologies.By integrating artillery recoil motion equations with magnetic circuit control equations,subdomain analytical models are established for both recoil and counter-recoil processes.The computational results demonstrate good consistency with finite element models,verifying the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.Through subdomain analytical models,the electromagnetic recoil damping mechanism and the load characteristics of electromagnetic-driven counter-recoil are investigated,and the influence of structural parameters on electromagnetic load characteristics are analyzed.The designed coaxial electromagnetic recoil and counter-recoil device can meet the performance requirements of artillery recoil processes.This research provides a reference and rapid analysis method for designing electromagnetic-medium recoil devices.关键词
