摘要

Abstract

This paper proposes an intelligent soft open point(SOP)stability enhancement strategy using energy storage drooping control to solve the potential large-signal instability problem in the system by decomposing large disturbances to indirectly expand the stable operation range of the system.Firstly,based on the qualitative analysis of the transient process of the system under large-signal disturbance,an energy storage drooping control strategy is proposed and the large-signal model of SOP considering energy storage drooping control is obtained.Secondly,the working principle of the energy storage drooping control strategy is introduced.Then,the large-signal stability criterion using the energy storage drooping control strategy is obtained by constructing the mixed potential function of the system,and the effect of the proposed strategy on the large-signal stability of the system is analyzed.On this basis,the stability boundaries of the SOP system with and without energy storage drooping control are compared in the form of intuitive graphs(e.g.,attraction domains),and the effectiveness of the strategy in indirectly expanding the stable operation range is verified.Finally,the effectiveness of the energy storage drooping control strategy in indirectly improving the large-signal stability of the system and reducing the system recovery time is verified by Matlab/Simulink.
