Abstract

This paper provides a systematic review of condensed polynuclear aromatic(COPNA)resin,covering its fundamental characteristics,synthesis methods,and reaction mechanisms,with a focus on analyzing the action mechanisms and optimization strategies of different cross-linking agents in the cross-linking agent method.Additionally,it explores the research progress in synthesizing COPNA resin using petroleum by-products such as ethylene tar and catalytic cracking slurry,comparing the applicability and process characteristics of various raw materials.Furthermore,the modification methods of COPNA resin and their effects on enhancing resin performance are summarized.The potential for high-value applications in the motor industry is also discussed.This work offers theoretical references and technical support for the industrial development and efficient utilization of petroleum-based COPNA resin.
