Abstract
This article delves into the current status and challenges faced by traditional flare systems on offshore oil platforms,highlighting deficiencies in efficiency,stability,and environmental performance.Subsequently,the article introduces a novel plasma flare system,which offers a new solution to the problems of traditional flare systems through its remarkable capabilities,including high-efficiency ignition performance,stable combustion,and significant environmental benefits.To further validate the practical effects of this new flare system,a case study is conducted involving three retrofitting projects at a certain offshore gas field.Detailed data comparisons and analyses are conducted to assess the carbon emissions,economic benefits,and return on investment after the retrofits.The results indicate that the new plasma flare system not only excels in environmental performance but also demonstrates significant economic advantages.This study not only provides a scientific basis for the upgrading and replacement of flare systems on offshore oil platforms but also offers valuable references and insights for the promotion and application of new flare systems in the industry,contributing to the push for a more environmentally friendly and efficient development direction for the entire petroleum industry.关键词
