基于X射线源的地层密度测量问题探究
Analysis on formation density measurement using X-ray source

Abstract
With the continuous acceleration of green development in oil and gas exploration and the successful breakthrough of underground X-ray source,using X-ray source instead of 137Cs radioactive source for formation density measurement has become a new development trend.To explore the problem of formation density measurement based on X-ray source,it is necessary to first master the characteristics of X-ray source.This paper uses Monte Carlo numerical simulation to study the X-ray energy spectrum under different parameters.Then,the energy window setting problem when obtaining formation density based on X-ray source was analyzed combined with a logging tool model.And multi-parameter joint inversion method and spine-and-ribs method were used to compare and analyze the response of X-ray formation density measurement.The results show that tungsten target material,small target angle,high target thickness and high voltage should be selected as the preferred X-ray source when applying X-ray source to measure formation density,and lithological effect caused by X-ray's low energy can be reduced to some extent by optimizing the density window boundary,the range of energy window setting was determined after comprehensive consideration of environmental factors.In addition to that,the average errors of X-ray formation density calculation about the multi-parameter joint inversion method and spine-and-ribs method are 0.028 g·cm-3 and 0.107 g·cm-3,respectively.Although there is a certain gap in the measurement effect of formation density between X-ray source and 137Cs source,X-ray source provides an effective option for cable controlled source density measurement in open hole wells.The study lays a theoretical and design foundation for the application of X-ray density measurement in the future.关键词
