Application effect of three-step prone position in neonatal pneumonia after bronchoscopic alveolar lavage

Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of three-step prone position in neonatal pneumonia after bronchoscopic alveolar lavage.Methods A total of 64 neonates with pneumonia who underwent bronchoscopic alveolar lavage in Wuzhou Gongren Hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected and divided into study group(n=32)and control group(n=32)by the random number table method.After the operation,the study group adopted three-step prone position intervention,while the control group adopted the alternating intervention of supine position and lateral position intervention.The blood gas indicators(partial pressure of oxygen[PO2],blood oxygen saturation[SpO2],partial pressure of carbon dioxide[PCO2]),the relief time of dyspnea,the duration of crying,the length of hospital stay and the satisfaction of family members were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the PO2 and SpO2 in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the PCO2 was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The relief time of dyspnea,the duration of crying and the length of hospital stay in the study group were all shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of family members in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion After bronchoscopic alveolar lavage for neonatal pneumonia,the adoption of three-step prone position can improve the oxygenation function of children,relieve dyspnea,reduce crying,shorten the length of hospital stay,and enhance the satisfaction of family members,which is worthy of promotion.关键词
