Abstract
This paper proposes the application of the attenuation gradient factor attribute in geological radar karst detection to meet the needs of hidden cave detection and cave filling discrimination.Using the finite-difference time-domain method to simulate the propagation of electromagnetic waves in pure hollow and mud-filled caves,and the generalized S-transform for time-frequency analysis,the results showed that electromagnetic waves propagate in caves with high-frequency attenuation and a decrease in the primary frequency.Subsequently,the attenuation gradient factor was extracted from the numerical simulation data,and the anomalous range of this attribute was consistent with the model cave.Moreover,the attenuation gradient factor for pure hollow caves was greater than that for flushing caves.The application of the attenuation gradient factor in actual karst exploration to characterize karst ranges and distinguish filling types is consistent with on-site conditions and drilling data,indicating that this attribute can provide more reliable and accurate geophysical data in karst exploration projects.关键词
