"双碳"目标下新疆钢铁行业减污降碳协同增效路径探讨
Exploration of Synergistic Pathways for Pollution and Carbon Reduction in Xinjiang's Steel Industry under the Dual Carbon Goals

Abstract
As an important steel production base in China,Xinjiang′s steel industry not only promotes regional economic development,but also faces severe challenges of reducing pollution and carbon reduction.This study aims to explore effective methods for Xinjiang′s steel industry to achieve synergistic benefits between pollution reduction and carbon reduction.Combined with the actual situation and scenario analysis of Xinjiang,a LEAP model is constructed to explore the terminal energy demand and carbon emission trends in Xinjiang from 2021~2050.The results showed that through the implementation of comprehensive emission reduction measures,the carbon emissions of the three scenarios can peak in 2030.Through continuous optimization of production structures,improved equipment efficiency,and the promotion and application of energy-saving,pollution-reducing,and carbon reduction technologies,large-scale emission reductions can be achieved,thereby mitigating environmental impacts.Xinjiang′s steel industry is expected to effectively reduce air pollutant emissions while achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutralization goals.关键词
