Interpretation of expert consensus on biomarkers of aging in the visual sys-tem
摘要
Abstract
"A framework of biomarkers for visual system aging:a consensus statement by the Aging Biomarker Consor-tium"is the first multi-dimensional indicator system for standardized assessment of visual system aging proposed by the Ag-ing Biomarker Consortium.This consensus integrates functional,structural,and molecular biomarkers to establish standard tools for early detection of age-related eye diseases,in-depth elucidation of their underlying pathogenic mechanisms,and precise guidance for the implementation of targeted interventions.Functional biomarkers reflect clinical phenotypes,struc-tural biomarkers provide imaging evidence,and molecular biomarkers reveal biological mechanisms.This framework addres-ses the critical gap in quantifying visual system aging and lays a foundation for personalized eye health management and an-ti-aging research.However,further validation and technological refinement are still needed for clinical implementation.关键词
