Abstract
As pivotal infrastructure for seasonal energy peak-shaving and supply security,as well as for achieving the dual carbon goals,natural gas storage facilities have significant carbon emissions during operation that cannot be overlooked.Based on 2024 carbon emission verification data from three typical storage sites under our jurisdiction,this paper systematically analyzes their carbon emission characteristics and main sources.Results indicate that the primary sources of carbon emissions are indirect emissions from net purchased electricity,methane fugitive emissions,and process venting.The study reveals core issues in current storage operations,including a high-carbon energy structure and weak methane management.Accordingly,this paper proposes an integrated emission reduction strategy centered on transitioning to a low-carbon energy structure,with key focuses on methane Leak Detection and Repair(LDAR)and process optimization,supported by an intelligent monitoring and lean management system.The aim is to provide a theoretical basis and practical reference for the low-carbon operation and green transformation of gas storage facilities.关键词
