Abstract

To address the lack of a systematic risk assessment framework during the design phase of pressure equipment,a full-process method of"hazard identification-risk assessment-risk acceptability determination-risk treatment"is proposed based on 11 international and domestic standards,including ISO 16528-1 and GB/T 150.1~150.4-2024.By categorizing 3 major types and 11 failure modes(including short-term,long-term,and cyclic failures),a four-level risk matrix is established,and risk acceptability is quantified using the ALARP principle.The results indicate that four major types of damage require focused attention during the design phase:Corrosion thinning,environmental cracking,material degradation,and mechanical damage.The standardized framework developed in this study has supported the formulation of Appendix F in GB/T 150.1~150.4-2024,addressing the inadequacy of traditional design codes in considering complex damage mechanisms.This research provides a standardized reference framework for risk assessment in the design phase of pressure equipment.
