Abstract

To address the issues of high oil content and severe emulsification in oil-bearing sludge(hereinafter referred to as oily sludge)after thermochemical cleaning,a nano-emulsion was produced via fermentation using a specially designed culture medium.This nano-emulsion was mixed with the oily sludge,and ultrasound was applied to enhance the cleaning process.By optimizing the dosage of agents,pH value,and other process parameters,effective treatment results were achieved.The study shows that under the conditions of 1.6%agent dosage,pH 8,ultrasonic power of 1 000 W,frequency of 10 kHz,and sonication time of 3 minutes,the oil content in the treated sludge was reduced from 10%to 0.27%,achieving an oil removal rate of 97.3%.Moreover,the treatment solution remained highly effective after 10 reuse cycles,with the oil content of the sludge measuring only 0.78%,demonstrating excellent reusability.
