Abstract

In view of the use and development situation of sowing machine for highland barley in mountainous region of Tibet,the sowing performance tests were conducted on 3 kinds of sowing machine that were usually used for highland barley planting in Dazi district of Lhasa City.The metering uniformity,sowing amount deviation and sowing depth uniformity of different sowing methods were measured with the common sowing amount of 225kg/hm2 in the local area.The results shows that the CV for metering amount of wide-width uniform sowing machine is the minimum of 30.3%,with the minimum deviation of metering amount between left and right range which was 5m.The sowing amount of no-tillage sowing machine is closest to the set value,with a relative deviation of 1.3%.The sowing depth of the wide-width uniform sowing machine is closest to the set value,with a minimum deviation of 4.8mm,the average sowing depth of no-tillage sowing machine varied greatly between rows,but the sowing depth in the same row was more uniform.The difference of average depth between each row of precision strip sowing machine and wide-width uniform sowing machine was relatively small,but the uniformity of depth in the same row was worse.Based on the test results and user feedback,the problems of the current highland barley sowing equipment were summarized and analyzed,the development suggestions such as"introducing applicable machinery","improving existing machinery",and"building suitable mechanized plots"were proposed.
