Abstract
The integration of an efficient market and a well-functioning government is a principle proposed at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,whicn must be upheld throughout China's economic and social development during the 15th Five Year Plan period.The characteristics of economic development transformation,the characteristics of the transformation of the driving force system of the economic system,the highly uncertain economic and social development environment,and the trend of optimizing the relationship between the market and the government all pose contemporary demands for better integrating an efficient market with a well-functionin government.In the current period,the enhanced integration between an efficient market and a well-functionin government has been particularly evident in several key areas,such as accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces,building a modern economic system,and enhancing the overall efficiency of the science and technology innovation chain.The key to achieving a better integration between an efficient market and a well-functionine government lies in building a well-functioning government that is commensurate with the stage of high-quality development.At the same time,in practice,it is necessary to clarify the connotation and practical orientation of the principle of integrating an efficient market with a well-functioning government,strengthen publicity to reduce misunderstandings,pay attention to potential conflicts and erroneous tendencies,and guard against the orientation of overemphasizing the government's role at the expense of market mechanisms.关键词
