Abstract
Corpus is the starting point for lip reading research.The lack of a universal Chinese lip read-ing corpus has become one of the key factors restricting the development of Chinese lip reading tech-nology.In this review,the research advances of Chinese lip reading corpus are systematically and com-prehensively summarized.First,two types of lip reading technologies are outlined.Then,existing major Chinese lip reading corpus are focused on,sorted out and summarized,with a comparative analysis con-ducted in-depth across multiple dimensions,including granularity,data scale,acquisition conditions,modality types,and recognition performance.Finally,the current challenges faced by Chinese lip read-ing corpus and potential countermeasures are discussed,and the possible application values of lip reading are prospected.References are provided for subsequent researchers,and the construction of a data ecosystem for Chinese lip reading is promoted.关键词
