Improvement Path of Total Factor Productivity of Agriculture in Xinjiang
摘要
Abstract
The total factor productivity of agriculture is the concrete expression of agricultural development,which intuitively reflects the current situation and trend of agricultural development.The calculation and decomposition of agricultural total factor productivity in Xinjiang and the exploration of the spatiotemporal evolution and improvement path of agricultural total factor productivity in Xinjiang can provide ideas for the modernization of agriculture in Xinjiang.This study took 14 prefectures and cities in Xinjiang as the research object,and took the 14-year period from 2005 to 2020 as the span,used the DEA-Malmquist index method to explore the spatiotemporal evolution of agricultural total factor productivity in Xinjiang,and used the fsQCA analysis method to extract the growth path of agricultural total factor productivity in Xinjiang.The results showed that:(1)Compared with the base period when the agricultural tax was not abolished,the total factor productivity of agriculture in Xinjiang showed an increasing trend,and technological progress and efficiency improvement complemented each other to promote the development of agricultural total factor.There are obvious regional differences in the growth momentum and characteristics of agricultural total factor productivity in Xinjiang.(2)There are three ways to improve the total factor productivity of agriculture in Xinjiang:rational agricultural structure driven;human capital,science and technology investment leading+local natural environment assistance;human capital,science and technology investment leading+economic level,information level assistance.Combining the three pathways,it was conclude d that human capital,scientific and technological investment and financial support are the core conditions for the improvement of agricultural total factor productivity.Therefore,Xinjiang should attach importance to human capital and investment in science and technology,strengthen financial support for agriculture,and plan the agricultural structure according to local conditions,so as to better serve the development of agricultural modernization in Xinjiang.关键词
