Abstract

Objective To investigate the distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria in patients with lower respiratory tract infection in our hospital,grasp the epidemic trend of drug resistance,and provide important guidance for the use of clinical antibiotics.Methods The distribution characteristics of 14 640 strains of pathogenic bacteria detected in patients with lower respiratory tract infection in Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2024 and the drug resistance of the main pathogenic bacteria to antibiotics were retrospectively analyzed.Results From 2021 to 2024,the detection rate of pathogenic bacteria in male patients with lower respiratory tract infections in our hospital was higher than that in female patients,with children and the elderly being the high-risk groups for lower respiratory tract infections.Over the past four years,the detection rate of penicillin-resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae(PRSP)has been relatively low(0%to 0.5%).The detection rate of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)has slightly decreased year by year(from 39.9%to 33.2%).The detection rate of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae(CRE)has remained at a low level(2.1%to 6.8%).The detection rate of carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa(CRPA)has not changed significantly(17.0%to 23.1%).Acinetobacter baumannii exhibits severe drug resistance,with resistance rates to most antibiotics,except for tigecycline and polymyxin B,exceeding 60%.The detection rate of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii(CRAB)is relatively high(62.5%to 76.4%).Conclusion The distribution of pathogenic bacteria in patients with lower respiratory tract infection at different ages is significantly different,and targeted prevention and control should be carried out.Understanding the drug resistance and multi drug resistance of the main pathogenic bacteria can provide guidance for the rational use of antibiotics in clinic,so as to improve the curative effect and reduce the production of drug-resistant strains.
