骨松宝颗粒联合经皮椎体成形术治疗老年胸腰椎骨折的临床研究
Clinical Study on Gusongbao Granules Combined with Percutaneous Vertebroplasty for Thoracolumbar Fractures in the Elderly

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of Gusongbao granules combined with percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP)on clinical efficacy,radiographic parameters and functional recovery in elderly patients with thoracolumbar fractures.Methods:A total of 76 elderly patients with thoracolumbar fractures admitted to a hospital between July 2021 and December 2024 were selected and assigned to the PVP group and combination therapy group by simple random grouping method,with 38 patients in each group.The PVP group received PVP treatment,while the combination therapy group was treated with Gusongbao granules in addition to PVP.Both groups were treated for a period of three months.The rehabilitation process(postoperative time to ambulation,fracture healing time,time to resume normal activities,length of hospital stay),pain[visual analogue scale(VAS)],lumbar function[Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)],radiographic parameters(the Cobb angle of the injured vertebra,anterior vertebral height,mid-vertebral height),bone density(right femoral neck,lumbar spine L2～L4)and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The fracture healing time and time to resume normal activities in the combination therapy group were shorter than those in the PVP group(P<0.05).No statistically significant differences in postoperative time to ambulation and length of hospital stay were observed between the two groups(P>0.05).At 3 months post-surgery,the VAS scores,ODI and the Cobb angle of the injured vertebra decreased in both groups,with the combination therapy group showing lower values than the PVP group(P<0.05).The anterior vertebral height,mid-vertebral height and bone density(right femoral neck,lumbar spine L2～L4)increased in both groups,with the combination therapy group showing higher values than the PVP group(P<0.05).No statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions was observed between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Gusongbao granules combined with PVP in elderly patients with thoracolumbar fractures can effectively alleviate pain,enhance spinal structural reconstruction,increase bone density,and improve lumbar function,without increasing the risk of adverse reactions.关键词
