Abstract
Epileptic seizures are transient cerebral dysfunctions caused by abnormal discharges resulting from an imbalance between excitation and inhibition.The interaction between excitatory and inhibitory neurons,particularly the central role of inhibitory interneurons through mechanisms such as γ-aminobutyric acid signaling,disruption of chloride ion homeostasis,and potassium diffusion,is crucial in the initiation,propagation,and termination of seizures.Epileptic seizures exhibit a"dual"structure composed of an ictal core and a penumbra,and undergo a temporal evolution process including recruitment,propagation,and termination.The combined use of macroelectrodes and microelectrodes provides a cross-scale perspective for understanding epileptic dynamics,offering significant insights for precise surgical interventions.关键词
