A review of research on poly(adp-ribose)polymerase family member 14 in systemic lupus erythematosus

Abstract
Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)is an autoimmune disease characterized by aberrant activation of the type I interferon signaling pathway and excessive production of pathogenic autoantibodies.Recent studies have revealed that ADP-ribosylation modification regulates immune processes such as T lymphocyte differentiation and B cell antibody secretion.poly(adp-ribose)polymerase family member 14,a multifunctional ADP-ribosyl transferase,not only dynamically modifies target biomolecules including proteins,DNA,and RNA through mono-ADP-ribosylation but also plays a critical role in DNA damage repair,inflammatory regulation,and maintenance of immune homeostasis.This review systematically summarizes the molecular mechanisms by which PARP14 influences the pathogenesis and progression of SLE through epigenetic and immunoregulatory pathways.关键词
